Christians worship in many different ways, but always for the same purpose: To give glory and praise to God in thanksgiving for the redemption won for us by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We hope you will join us on Sunday mornings!
As an Episcopal congregation, we worship in accordance with the Book of Common Prayer. We gather weekly to hear God’s holy Word, to sing hymns accompanied by the organ, to pray for ourselves and others, to confess our sins and seek God’s forgiveness, and to receive Christ’s Body and Blood in bread and wine. At St. Alban’s, we do not all think the same way and can disagree on many issues, but we are all united through our baptism into Christ and in coming together weekly to worship God. |
